The Marathon Strides Against MS team raises funds to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's movement to create a world free of multiple sclerosis. The Central New England Chapter provides help for today, and hope for tomorrow for nearly 14,000 individuals and families affected by multiple sclerosis in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and across the United States. Eighty-seven (87) percent of monies raised by the Chapter help them to reach out and respond to individuals, families, and communities living with multiple sclerosis, and to move research forward by relentlessly pursuing prevention, treatment and cure, and to move politicians and legislation to champion the needs of people with MS through activism, advocacy and influence.
